  Office of Naval Research – Acquisition Submission requirements may vary by program, all ONR funding opportunities published as Broad Agency Announcements (BAAs) for FY 2009 and beyond will use Grants.gov.

Department of Energy DOE for Researchers Applications for Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE) financial assistance should be submitted through Grants.gov
    DOE Office of Science requires Grants.gov submission, except for Cooperative Agreements that use Industry Interactive Procurement System at http://e-center.doe.gov/.
    NETL uses the Industry Interactive Procurement System and/or Grants.gov to receive proposals and applications.
    DOE is implementing the Strategic Integrated Procurement Enterprise System (STRIPES) during fiscal years 2008 and 2009. As a result, DOE will begin using FedConnect as the communications portal for its potential and actual contractor and financial assistance recipient communities (entities) beginning in March 2008.

National Aeronautics and Space Administration For Researchers – Research Opportunities NASA uses NSPIRES for electronic proposal submission. Most NASA Research Announcement (NRA) and Cooperative Agreement Notice (CAN) programs allow Grants.gov submission.
National Archives and Records Administration NARA Grants Applicants to National Historical Publications & Records Commission, the main grant-making component of NARA, should use Grants.gov.
National Endowment for the Arts Apply for a Grant NEA uses Grants.gov; some programs require Grants.gov submission.
National Endowment for the Humanities Grant Programs and Deadlines NEH requires Grants.gov submission.
National Science Foundation Find Funding NSF uses FastLane for electronic submission. NSF is transitioning to Grants.gov – see NSF’s Policy Office (Grants.gov information is in the middle of the page), and the NSF Grants.gov Application Guide (PDF file). Principal investigators must be registered in NSF FastLane for Grants.gov submission, and proposals submitted with Grants.gov must meet both Grants.gov requirements and FastLane requirements.
